The First International Conference on "Rethinking International Relations in an Age of Uncertainty" was successfully held at Chu Hai College in Hong Kong from 14 to 15 November 2025. Organised by the Ng Teng Fong · Sino Group Belt and Road Research Institute (NSBRRI), the conference brought together more than 300 scholars and experts from 44 countries and regions for substantive academic exchange. This conference featured 163 presentations across 18 sessions, focusing on three key areas: the Belt and Road Initiative, Artificial Intelligence, and Geopolitics & Global Governance. These discussions provided important platforms for examining contemporary challenges in international affairs.
The conference not only solidified Hong Kong's position as a global hub for scholarly dialogue but also firmly established NSBRRI as a leading centre for research on contemporary international relations. NSBRRI extends its sincere gratitude to all keynote speakers, panellists, and participants from across the globe for their invaluable contributions to these exchanges. NSBRRI looks forward to building upon this foundation to advance high-level international academic cooperation.
