Undergraduate Programmes

Entry Requirements (one of the following)

Examination Requirements
ACT (United States)
  • High School Diploma; AND
  • A minimum composite score of 24 on the ACT
AP (United States)
  • High School Diploma; AND
  • Grade 3 in at least two subjects
ATAR/TER/ENTER/UAI (Australia)
  • Senior Secondary Certificate of Education; AND 
  • Rank of 80 or above
GCE A-Level / International A-Level
  • Grade E or above in two A-Level subjects in the GCE A-Level / International A-Level (excluding English and Chinese subjects)
GSAT (Taiwan)
  • Minimum score in each of the Mathematics, Society and Science subjects, should meet at least the average standard; AND
  • Non-standard entry could be considered in the event that the total score meets the average standard or above but one individual subject fails to meet the minimum requirement
IB
  • 24 points
    (including 3 subjects at Higher Level and 3 at Standard Level, 12 points or above to be obtained from subjects at Higher Level), i.e. completion of IB Diploma Programme
OP (Australia)
  • Senior Secondary Certificate of Education; AND
  • Band between 1 and 8
Philippines
  • High School Diploma (Grade 12)
SAT (United States)
  • High School Diploma; AND
  • A minimum score of 1190 (out of 1600) on the new SAT (from March 2016); OR
  • A minimum score of 1650 (out of 2400) on the old SAT
STPM  (Malaysia)
  • Pass (Grade C or above) in at least 7 subjects at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level of which 6 subjects shall be obtained in the same sitting; AND
  • 3 subjects in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) in the same sitting, other than language subjects
UEC (Malaysia)
  • Pass (Grade C or above) in at least 7 subjects at Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) level of which 6 subjects shall be obtained in the same sitting

Other qualifications

  • Qualifications equivalent to the above.

Note:
@TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date until the application submission. Only scores in one single attempt that meet the specific English proficiency requirements for each programme will be accepted. TOEFL (Home Edition) and IELTS (Online) scores are NOT accepted.
 
^Applicants must have their official TOEFL score report sent directly to the College by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). The TOEFL institution code for Hong Kong Chu Hai College is 9495.
 
#Applicants must have their official IELTS score report sent directly to the College via the official IELTS Results Service e-delivery, under the name of "Hong Kong Chu Hai College".

Applicants must apply online and upload the following documents to the Admissions System:

  1. One recent passport-size photo;
  2. Identity Card / Passport and its photocopy;
  3. School academic results and certificates, public examination results, and their photocopies;
  4. Recommendation letter from the applicant’s school (if applicable);

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of HK$200 for local applicants or HK$500 for non-local applicants. For payment methods, please visit the Finance Office webpage.

Selected applicants will receive an interview invitation by email.

Non-local Students (including mainland students with international qualifications): 20 October 2025 to 30 May 2026

Non-local Students
